This page explains how hoox.sh uses cookies and similar technologies (including browser local storage and session storage) under the EU ePrivacy rules and the GDPR. For broader data processing, see the Privacy notice.
1. What we mean by “cookies”
Besides HTTP cookies, this notice covers local storage and session storage used by the site shell. We do not run advertising networks or sell personal profiles.
2. Categories
Necessary (always on)
Required for security, basic operation, recording your consent choice, and product-aware theming derived from the URL path (HOOX / PYNE / AXIS). These do not require opt-in.
- hoox-cookie-consent (local storage) — your Accept / Reject / category choices and timestamp.
- Session boot flag (session storage) — whether the cold-boot page loader already ran in this tab.
- In-memory / DOM theming — color pack and texture applied from the current path so the product identity is consistent without optional storage.
Preferences (optional)
Remembers UI dock choices across visits. Only written if you enable Preferences in the consent banner.
- hoox-color-pack — accent color pack (signal, volt, void, …).
- hoox-texture — background texture mode.
- hoox-glow — glow intensity preference.
Analytics (optional)
Aggregate traffic metrics. We do not use marketing pixels. When analytics is allowed and the host has enabled it, we may use privacy-oriented measurement such as Cloudflare® Web Analytics (typically cookieless; still treated as optional here).
If analytics is injected at the edge by the host platform independently of this banner, that processing is described in the hoster's documentation and our Privacy notice. Prefer rejecting optional categories if you want the minimal footprint this site controls.
3. Legal bases
- Necessary — legitimate interest / necessity to provide the requested service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; ePrivacy strictly necessary exception).
- Preferences & analytics — consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; ePrivacy consent for non-essential storage / access).
4. How long
Consent is stored until you clear site data or change it. Preference keys last until you clear them or revoke Preferences. Analytics retention follows the analytics provider's settings (short aggregate windows for Cloudflare® Web Analytics).
5. Manage or withdraw consent
Use the banner on first visit, or reopen it anytime: . You can also clear site data in your browser. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
